Grenades are thrown explosive weapons that have a short fuse. Once thrown, they detonate after a few seconds, dealing damage over a small area, they also detonate when they hit an enemy. Because grenades bounce in a predictable fashion, they can be thrown around corners or down holes to flush out enemy Drones. Grenades lack the power to kill larger or armoured Drones, but they can be very effective against clustered groups of weaker enemies or those with shields.
Grenades are also used by the enemy; Soldiers, Rhinos, Snipers and Cowards are all capable of throwing Grenades. Though they tend to be reckless and even drop them at their feet. They're also slow enough to be shot by a well-placed blast, detonating it prematurely, with the drone along with it.
